Jackson Wang has recently responded for the first time to rumours of a relationship with Song Yuqi, the Chinese member of South Korean idol group, i-dle.
Speaking to the media at an event in Hong Kong, he dismissed the ongoing rumours that he has been secretly dating the singer for the past seven years, and shared that he is still single.
Asked whether he had ever considered pursuing Yuqi, he laughed and said, “If I had, I would have done it long ago.”
Regarding the widespread rumours that Yuqi had met his parents, he clarified that many people have met his parents, though he stressed that Yuqi has never met them.
As for his relationship status, Jackson said, “After turning 30, I am more focused on my career. My family is not pressuring me to get married, so I am currently concentrating all my energy on my work.”
