Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber had recently passed away.
The news was confirmed by a rep for Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, saying that the family is asking for privacy ‘during this very difficult and painful time.
Presley was revealed to have died while staying at a rehab facility on 20 September, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records.
It was reported that officials are investigating his death as a suspected overdose.
The model, who was signed by IMG Models at 15, was the only son of Cindy and Rande, and brother of model-actress Kaia Gerber. He once opened up about his struggles with mental health and addiction, saying, “[Mental health] is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s so much to it.”
“That’s really what I want to do: help people, whether you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean it could be anything, and there’s no judgment,” he added.
He was 27.
