Charlene Choi recently surprised many by announcing that she is set to star in an upcoming Lunar New Year 2027 film.
In a joint social media post with Emperor Motion Pictures, the singer-actress can be seen holding a clapper board, with the company writing, “Ah Sa is already passionately involved in filming. I wonder what role she will take on to greet everyone this time? What other surprise actors will join the New Year lineup?”
“The good stuff is just getting started. More actors, behind-the-scenes stories, and movie news will be revealed one by one! Stay tuned!” the caption added.
Other information about the film, such as the cast, is still pending official announcement. However, there are already reports that Raymond Lam will be the male lead.
The film is directed by Andy Lo, director of “My Best Bet,” and produced by Anselm Chan, director of “The Last Dance.”
