BTS V has shared for the first time ever that he is being treated for hearing problem.
The singer revealed that particular piece of information during a Weverse Live broadcast with fellow member Jungkook on 11 August, saying that his ears have been bad for more than a couple of years.
“If the left one hears at about 100 right now, the right one hears only 30,” he said.
V, real name Kim Tae-hyung, said that the issue became worse while he was serving in the military, but that he didn’t take it as seriously as he should have.
“Since I was surrounded by people who exercised a lot, everyone said, ‘It’s a matter of mental strength.’ After that, I kind of convinced myself that it was a matter of mental strength.”
However, the singer assured that he is now on medication and going to regular checkups.
