Myolie Wu couldn’t help but find it amusing that a video of her husband Philip Lee hugging her ex-boyfriend Bosco Wong went viral on social media.
The actress, who was asked about the chance encounter between the two in Malaysia earlier this month, said that she was surprised at first when she saw the video but felt it was hilarious that people are calling it “the hug of the century”.
“[Philip] didn’t tell me, I saw it myself! I said to him, ‘Wow! You didn’t tell me about something so big,’ and he said he didn’t remember,” she said.
Myolie explained that for her husband, it was just like meeting an ordinary friend, so he didn’t think it was a “big deal” that needed to be “specially” told to her.
Asked if her husband knew that Bosco was her ex, Myolie laughed and said, “Of course he knows! How could he not know? Everyone in Hong Kong knows. There’s no way he wouldn’t know!”
The actress said that it’s been years already and that she has no qualms greeting Bosco if they meet in the future.
She also has no issue working with the actor if such an opportunity arises, though she added lightheartedly, “The audience might not want to see that!”
