Taylor Swift is no longer the female artiste with the most stadium shows, as GEM revealed that she has now surpassed the American singer-songwriter’s 149 with her own 150 shows.
On 10 August, the Hong Kong singer shared the news on social media, writing, “Unbelievable! I’ve broken a world record! This weekend in Nanchang, the I AM GLORIA tour officially surpassed 150 stadium shows, becoming the tour with the most stadium performances in a single run by a female artiste worldwide. I’m incredibly excited and grateful!”
She continued, “Looking back to the end of 2023, I wasn’t even sure if I could actually hold a stadium concert. Now, almost three years into the tour, my team and I have grown a lot, and I believe our fans who have accompanied us along the way have too. And we’ve actually made it this far through thick and thin! I really want to shout: Fans, we’ve come so far!!!”
GEM also thanked all her fans for their support, all her team members and concert organisers, as well as her family friends.
Lastly, she added, “I thank God. Without Him, there would be no me! All Glory to God!”
