Make way for the silver-haired intern Choi Min-sik and younger CEO Han So-hee!
Warner Bros Korea recently announced that the South Korean remake of “The Intern” is set to be released on 16 September, simultaneously unveiling its poster and trailer.
Directed by Kim Do-young, the film depicts an office life that transcends generations and ranks, beginning when Ki-ho (Choi Min-sik), a veteran with 37 years of experience, joins the company of Sun-woo (Han So-hee), who has rapidly emerged as a dark horse in the fashion world just three years after launching her company.

The film is a remake of the 2015 movie of the same name, which starred Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway in the roles now portrayed by Choi and Han.
Despite the mixed reviews, the original movie, helmed by Nancy Meyers, grossed USD 195 million from its USD 35 million budget.
