Amid accusations that DJ Koo Jun-yup is not relinquishing his rights to Barbie Hsu’s estate and that his relationship with the Hsu family has supposedly been strained, a source has now come to his defence and denied all allegations.

As reported on UDN, a friend of the South Korean entertainer recently stated that there is no truth to all the reports about him, and that Koo is still in Taiwan and still continues to visit his late wife at the cemetery every day.

“There are absolutely no problems between the family members; his mother-in-law even cooks for him personally,” the source said.

It was also revealed that Koo has also moved to live near the Chin Pao San Cemetery where Barbie is laid to rest, as his previous residence was far from the cemetery, requiring a daily commute of about two hours.

“It’s just that this has been misunderstood by the outside world, leading to various rumours,” the friend added.

They then concluded by saying that Koo has never been one to respond much to controversies.

“Right now, his only focus is Barbie Hsu; nothing else matters,” he said.
