Wang Xiaofei’s wife and social media influencer Mandy Ma recently admitted that she would never show her two stepchildren in her livestreams.

In a recent online session with fans, the Taiwanese influencer said that she has issued strict instructions to any companies or brands wanting to collaborate with her – in no uncertain terms, that she would not have Wang Hsi-yueh and Wang Hsi-lin in any of her live sessions.

She emphasised that this new rule was a restriction she included when she signed a new contract last month, and that she will absolutely not allow the use of family members in online content to gain traffic.

It is noted that the two children are the son and daughter of the Shanghai businessman with his late wife, Barbie Hsu. Barbie had always been private when it came to her kids.

Asked why she made such a decision, Mandy said that each of Barbie’s children has their own fan base, and some irrational fans do not want the two sides to be involved.

She admitted that related videos of them in the past often triggered malicious insults and conflict among supporters of different sides, and that it deeply concerns her.

Mandy believes that the most effective way to protect the children is to keep them away from social media and let them live in a simpler environment.
