Brigitte Lin’s fans have recently slammed reports that the actress has been entrusted to manage Patrick Tse’s estate after his death.
As reported on Mingpao, the whole issue started after tabloids claimed that the veteran actor, who passed away earlier this week, left 90 percent of his HKD 100 million fortune to his grandsons Lucas and Quintus.
It was said that he had entrusted actress Brigitte Lin to safeguard the inheritance in a trust for the grandsons until the two boys, who are the sons of Nicholas Tse and former wife Cecilia Cheung, reach adulthood.
Brigitte’s official fan club has since issued a statement to debunk the claims, urging the public not to believe or spread false rumours about the two actors.
The club, Love Brigitte Lin, stated that Brigitte and Patrick Tse had never even worked together, and that claims she had been entrusted with his estate were completely baseless.
“News should be based on facts. Do not fabricate or spread rumours. This is also the respect that veteran Patrick Tse deserves,” they stated.
