Taiwanese actor Jun Fu, known for works like “Rookie’s Diary” and “Father and Son,” has recently passed away.

According to a statement from his management agency, the actor had just returned from a relaxing vacation in Bali, Indonesia, when his condition deteriorated rapidly.

He reportedly lost consciousness on 7 June at home and was taken to the Mackay Memorial Hospital in Tamsui for emergency treatment. However, the actor died later that day, with the agency saying that his death was linked to acute leukaemia.

Speaking about the actor, the agency stated that Jun Fu was recognised in the industry as a low-key, down-to-earth person. In private, he was pragmatic and focused on acting itself. After filming, he rarely participated in social activities and always quietly studied the script thoroughly.

He had also humbly described himself as “lacking talent and just working hard on the edge of passing.”
