Mainland Chinese actor Jin Ze was revealed to have passed away.
The news was confirmed by his management company in an obituary released on 6 June, stating, “It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our actor, Jin Ze, at his home in Hangzhou on 4 June 2026.”
“His family is currently handling the funeral arrangements. To avoid occupying public resources, we solemnly appeal to all netizens and media to show goodwill, respect the deceased, and sympathise with the family, and not fabricate rumours.”
The company added that the tragic news comes suddenly and that it will fully cooperate with all subsequent matters.
“We extend our deepest condolences to Jin Ze family and hope they will take care of themselves and find solace in their grief,” they added.
Born in 1993 in Weihai, Shandong, Jin Ze graduated from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. He first entered the entertainment industry as a model before transitioning into acting in 2016. In recent years, he gained popularity through China’s booming short-drama market and had starred in projects such as “Hello Joann,” “Forget You Remember Love,” and “Legally Romance.”
He was 33.
