Manami Ikura recently announced that she has given birth to her second child.
The former Momoiro Clover member shared the news on Instagram on 8 June with a photo of her newborn, writing, “I gave birth to my second baby the other day. She’s a healthy girl.”
“There were many worried days of being in hospital due to an impending preterm labour, but thanks to all of you, I was able to go into full term labour. I was able to welcome [my baby]. Thank you very much to everyone who supported me throughout my pregnancy,” she stated.
Manami stated that as a mother of two, she will continue to do her best.
The singer announced her marriage to her non-celebrity partner in 2022 and the couple welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2024.
