Kim Soo-hyun, who had suspended his activities due to controversies surrounding his private life, is resuming his activities after about a year with an advertisement shoot.
The news was confirmed by his agency, Gold Medalist on 8 June, stating, “Kim Soo-hyun will be filming a print advertisement with Bench, a representative Philippine fashion brand, on 14 July.”
It is noted that Kim took a break from the limelight last year amid allegations that he had been in a relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was still underage. He denied this, saying that they only started dating when she was of age.
The situation surrounding Kim Soo-hyun has recently taken a turn as Kim Se-ui, the head of Garo Sero Research Institute YouTube channel who has been making the claim, was arrested and referred to the prosecution on charges of spreading false information.
Meanwhile, the Disney+ series “Knockoff,” starring Kim Soo-hyun, has had its broadcast postponed indefinitely, and the release date remains uncertain.
