Joshua of Seventeen is set to take the stage at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris next week, marking another milestone in the K-pop group’s ongoing partnership with the global body.

Pledis Entertainment confirmed on Tuesday that the singer will speak at the event on 25 June, held under the banner “Going Together — For Youth Creativity & Well-Being.” Speaking on behalf of his twelve groupmates, Joshua will share an encouraging message for young people everywhere.

UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany is expected to be present, and the event will be streamed live on UNESCO’s YouTube channel for fans worldwide to tune in.

The band’s philanthropic efforts across Asia is not new. The group became UNESCO’s first-ever Goodwill Ambassadors for Youth back in 2024, a role that came with a $1 million pledge toward a global youth fund supporting mental health, creative communities, and confidence-building through music, art, and sport. The band has kept the momentum going since, including channelling proceeds from a charity auction last year toward the same cause.
