Former HKT48 member Emiri Yamashita recently announced that she is now married to former Japan national team player, Yuto Iwasaki.
In a joint statement released on social media, the couple expressed, “We, Yuto Iwasaki and Emiri Yamashita, are pleased to announce our marriage. We are truly happy to be able to share this news with all of you who have always warmly supported and encouraged us.”
“We have walked this path together, each of us sincerely facing our respective paths and working hard every day, with deep respect for one another. From now on, as life partners, we intend to support each other as we walk together,” they added.
The couple also expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported them, saying that every single word of warm encouragement and support has been a great source of strength for them.
“Yuto will dedicate himself to soccer more than ever, and Emiri will continue her talent activities, striving to deliver even greater growth in each of our respective fields. We will never forget our gratitude and will build a warm and peaceful home filled with smiles,” they added.
