Former SKE48 member Sara Suzuki announced that she has been discharged from the ICU, following her previous stroke.
The singer shared the news on 17 May via social media, writing, “I’m back from the intensive care unit. It’s about 10 times harder than I imagined.”
Sara’s agency announced in February of this year that she had suffered a stroke and was undergoing hospital treatment. She was discharged from the hospital on 28 February, but on 14 March revealed that she will undergo surgery in May.
Sara joined SKE48 in August 2023 and ended her activities with the group at the end of February 2025. In January of this year, she announced that she would be joining Nü FEEL, but shortly afterward she suffered a stroke, which prevented her from appearing at the debut event scheduled for February, and forced her to take time off to recover.
