Chinese influencer Li Qiao has dismissed rumours that she and rock star boyfriend Wang Feng have called it quits on their relationship.
The 35-year-old influencer, who has been dating the singer since his divorce from actress Zhang Ziyi, responded to the rumours on a recent livestream, saying that she takes responsibility for her choices.
Stressing that private matters shouldn’t occupy public resources, Li said she didn’t want to gain attention but instead just want to stop the controversy from continuing to escalate.
“We’re actually doing quite well; it’s not like what’s being said online… If anything changes in the future, if I want to say something, I will say it. I will tell everyone personally. I won’t let everyone stay in my livestream and speculate. Please rest assured,” she said.
Speaking of the future, Li frankly stated that relationships are inherently unpredictable.
“The future is uncertain, but I can take responsibility for any choices I make because I am an adult, and I can take care of my family, friends, and colleagues,” she added.
Wang Feng and Li confirmed their relationship in May 2024, seven months after he and Zhang ended their marriage. However, Li stressed that their relationship only began after his divorce was finalised.
