Lee Jae-wook is set to begin his military service soon.

His agency, Loh Studio confirmed the news, saying that the 28-year-old actor will enlist in the army as an active-duty soldier on 18 May.

He is scheduled to quietly enter the Army Training Centre without a separate ceremony.

Lee had previously revealed his enlistment plans in an interview following the release of the Netflix series, “Dear Hongrang,” saying, “I hope to become a slightly stronger version of myself after my discharge.”

Even after his enlistment, the works he has filmed are scheduled to continue airing. He will meet viewers through the drama “Doctor on the Edge,” which premieres on June 1, and the Netflix series “Dead-End Job,” which is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
