It was revealed that Choi Soo-young is positively considering appearing in the KBS 2TV weekend drama “Back to School” (literal title).

The news was confirmed by her agency, Saram Entertainment, on 18 May, saying that the drama is a new project by writer Yang Hee-seung of “Crash Course in Romance” fame.

Previously, it was reported that Lee Jung-eun is also positively reviewing the drama.

“Back to School” tells the story of a passionate mother who belatedly enters college and redesigns the second act of her life. It will be directed by Lee Woong-hee of “My Perfect Stranger” fame.

The drama is set to premiere next year.

Soo-young was last seen in “I Dol I” co-starring Kim Jae-young. The series follows Maeng Se-na, a renowned lawyer, as she defends her favourite idol, Do Ra-ik, against a murder charge.
