Charlene Choi has recently dismissed rumours that she and husband Elvis Lam have called it quits not a month after announcing their marriage.
The whole issue sparked after several rumours circulated online that the couple’s relationship had soured. The rumours claimed that the singer had deleted her wedding announcement posts on social media, moved out of their shared residence, and was “emotionally devastated”.
The rumours also implicated Charlene’s close friend, Gillian Chung, alleging that Gillian did not attend her wedding. These rumours immediately sparked a frenzy of speculation and discussion among netizens.
However, a quick check of Charlene’s social media platforms would reveal that her wedding announcement and sweet wedding photos from last month are still there, indicating no “deletion of the wedding announcement”.
The singer, through her manager Mani Fok, has also responded to the media, saying, “It’s all false. Gillian Chung attended the wedding, and we’re still on our honeymoon!”
