Blue Lan recently admitted that filming the street banquet-themed reality show, “Have a Seat” was truly more challenging than he had expected.
Attending the premiere of the show on 27 May, the actor, who is participating in a large-scale reality show for the first time, admitted the filming was far more intense than he had imagined.
“This wasn’t like making a normal TV show. It felt like throwing your entire life into the kitchen!” he said.

In addition to running into unexpected problems, Blue said that the master chefs would correct them at any moment, pushing him close to a breakdown. He recalled the several mishaps he had, from injuring his hands after using too much force in chopping chicken, to accidentally stabbing his left thumb while trimming shrimp heads.
Blue said that upon returning to Taiwan, he discovered the injury had developed into paronychia (a nail infection). Doctors informed him that the wound had become infected with pus and required debridement.
When asked whether he would work with the production team again in the future, he smiled and responded, “Let’s part on good terms.”
