Zhang Linghe’s camp recently assured that everything is well with the actor, after he was photographed with a limp and needing help from his assistant earlier.
The whole issue started after fans circulated a video showing the actor, who was wearing a mask and carrying a cup of coffee in one hand and a camera in another, moving with difficulty once he got out of the car.
Some were saying that he seemed to be walking with a limp, with an assistant helping him throughout. Many believed that it was caused by the many action scenes and wire work for his new drama, “The Road to Glory”.
In response to the speculations, the production team stated that Zhang’s discomfort was caused by a muscle cramp and not a sprain or fracture as fans thought.
“He has a muscle strain in his leg, which makes walking slightly difficult. But his physical condition is fine, so please be rest assured. We will continue to closely monitor his physical condition,” they added.
