Yang Mi recently revealed that she had a minor burn from using a steam eye mask, which has now left noticeable red marks around her eyes.
The actress shared about her mishap in a social media post, revealing the minor injury she had and jokingly wrote in the caption, “The steam eye mask bit me.”
Yang Mi’s studio responded soon after that her wounds have received professional treatment and that the burns have not affected the filming of her new drama or subsequent commercial activities.
Zhang Xinyu has also shared her experience of getting low-temperature burns from using a steam eye mask during filming, which is said to have been caused by filming in a very cold environment and then using the steam eye mask afterwards.
“I have also been burned before. This is a low-temperature burn, so please be careful,” she said.
It is noted that Yang Mi is currently filming her new drama, “The Reign of Northern Wei”.
