While many of her peers from Cyndi Wang, Amber Kuo, Pets Tseng to Michelle Chen have joined the mainland reality show, “Sisters Who Make Waves,” Janine Chang recently said that she will never be one of them.
The Taiwanese actress, who spoke to the media at a skincare event on 13 April, laughed when asked whether she has any intention to do the show in the future, saying that she would rather not ruin it.
“I have studied my acting skills so sincerely because I am not good at singing and dancing, so please do not poison everyone. I will act well, I promise everyone,” she said.
As for her upcoming project, the actress stated that she had taken on a period drama that she has never done before, and hopes that everybody will look forward to it.
“I have been seriously filming since last year, and I will show everyone the many different character changes I have portrayed [in the drama],” she enthused.
Meanwhile, when asked to give her comment regarding her “Black & White” co-star Reen Yu returning to showbiz after a long hiatus, Janine happily expressed her support and blessings for the actress.
