A photo of Jackie Chan with son Jaycee has now sparked speculations that the father and son have now mended things between them.
Some netizens recently revealed that they had seen Jackie and Jaycee in Huizhou and decided to photograph them. Jackie is seen having his arm around Jaycee’s shoulder and seems to be telling the 43-year-old something.
It was stated that the two of them were chatting and laughing together, seemingly enjoying their time with each other.
Back in December, Jackie revealed at the promotional event of his movie, “Whispers of Gratitude” that his past belief in “a strict father produces a filial son” was wrong, causing their relationship to suffer.
He further added that this kind of interaction with his son over a long period of time has caused his son to gradually become fearful. However, the actor said that he has gradually let go of his past attitude and no longer forces his son to change.
Meanwhile, the action star recently celebrated his 72nd birthday. His “Karate Kid” co-star Jaden Smith took to social media to wish him a happy birthday, writing, ” I Love You, You Changed My Life & Taught Me Things I Will Never Forget I Could Never Be Who I Am Today Without You You’re A Legend An Icon And A Leader Happy Birthday See You Soon.”
