Japanese model-actress Hikari Mitsushima recently announced that she is now remarried and pregnant with her and new husband’s baby.
Sharing the good news on 30 March, the 40-year-old model posted a note that read, “Keisuke Asano and Hikari Mitsushima have just submitted their marriage registration and are now married. Furthermore, a new life is growing inside her.”
“Thanks to the support and warm feelings of those around us, we are now spending our days feeling happiness and miracles, prioritising our physical and mental health above all else. We would be grateful for your warm support,” the note added.
Keisuke Asano is from Sapporo, Hokkaido and is currently based in New York and Japan, and works not only as a model but also as a photographer.
After divorcing director Yuya Ishii in 2016, Hikari was photographed dating actor Kento Nagayama in May of the same year. However, in 2019, she revealed on a television programme that she was “looking for a good partner,” hinting at her single status.
