After leaving ENHYPEN, it was revealed that Heeseung is now returning as a solo artiste with a new stage name.
On 8 April, the singer debuted his new social media account with his stage name, Evan, and shared several new photos of him, which Belift said represent him in his “most authentic form”.
In a statement, Evan stated that the name change reflected his own personal identity.
“Evan is a name I’ve cherished since childhood, one that holds many of my most precious memories,” he said. “Through this name, I hope to reach fans with music that fully expresses my most honest and natural self.”
It was back in March that Belift announced that Heeseung would leave ENHYPEN to focus on his own distinctive musical vision. Prior to that, the singer had been with the group since 2020.
