Jay Chou recently revealed that he is set to release his new album this month.
Sharing the news on 13 March via Instagram, the singer expressed, “The last album I released was in 2022, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been writing this new one for three or four years. Over the years, I’ve slowed down the pace of life and gradually poured that energy into my music.”
“I write when inspiration strikes, sing when I have time, and shoot music videos when I have time. My most productive time has actually been these past few months after my tours ended. If I didn’t hold concerts, play sports, or wait for Vincent Fang to write lyrics, maybe an album would have been born in a month.”
Jay added that he is finally celebrating the fact that his album is coming.
He revealed that the teasers for his new album will be released starting on 18 March, with one song released each day, and a press conference will be held on the 24th.
