More than a year after winning Best Actress, Katy Kung admitted that she hasn’t filmed any dramas, but still has a passion for acting.
The actress, who sat down for an interview recently, stated, “Last year, I picked up hosting again after many years, serving as the emcee for a major show and performing on stage. I felt I was being bolder. For example, I hesitated before doing a live broadcast, worried I wouldn’t be able to do it. In the end, I decided to challenge myself. I felt my singing wasn’t very good, so I practiced.”
“As long as you’re willing to try and do your best, that’s enough,” she added.
However, this does not mean that she is leaving acting altogether, as Katy stressed that she remains devoted to her career.
“Winning the award allows me to do other different jobs, and after trying them, I can film dramas again. I feel great; it’s a great thing,” she said, adding that she will return to set in April for a new drama.
“I have never had the opportunity to play a professional. I really want to play a forensic doctor or a lawyer. Now that I am more mature, I can give it a try.”
