Bernice Liu has dismissed the notion that she is trying to compete with ex-boyfriend Moses Chan, after announcing her new coffee business.
The actress-turned-businesswoman recently announced her foray into the coffee industry and launched her own brand of health-focused coffee. She revealed that her coffee, Qi Coffee’s concept differs from regular coffee on the market, emphasising a healthy and nourishing approach.
“This coffee incorporates herbal ingredients such as turmeric, black pepper, and cinnamon, which help promote blood circulation, giving it a touch of traditional Chinese herbal flavour, making it perfect for health-conscious urbanites,” she said in one of her videos.
However, when netizens asked whether her product is a direct challenge to Moses’ own Blooms Coffee, Bernice denied this, saying, “This isn’t ordinary coffee. No! It has absolutely nothing to do with it. This isn’t ordinary coffee, it’s not hot. I’m not selling [coffee] beans.”
