Yoyo Chen is asking everybody to please respect her underage daughter, after photos of the 13-year-old Wong Ching Kiu and her boyfriend circulated online.
The TVB actress, who was asked about the photos that people have been sharing of her daughter, said that every child needs space and privacy to grow up.
“Please respect my daughter’s rights as an ordinary teenager and allow her to grow up in an environment free from public pressure,” she added.
It is noted that Yoyo has previously revealed that her daughter needs her own gadgets for school purposes, which is why she cannot control much when it comes to social media, except to remind the 13-year-old to be careful.
She has also jokingly said that she knows her daughter has several social media accounts and that she follows them.
It is noted that Wong Ching Kiu has already removed photos of her boyfriend from her social media account and changed her profile picture.
