Julia Xiang is distancing herself from actor Zhou Qi by saying that she is single and busy with work.
As reported on Sina, the whole romance saga sparked on 4 January, when media outlets reported that Julia was seen checking into the actor’s residence with her luggage back on 17 December and later attended a fashion awards.
It was also reported that the two were photographed returning home together the next day, and was seen embracing, clearly indicating a relationship.
However, the controversy quickly escalated when internet celebrity Si Xiaodi released alleged chat logs with Zhou Qi, showing that on 19 December, she and Zhou Qi were still discussing meeting privately, sparking allegations that the actor was cheating in his relationship.
While Zhou Qi took to social media to deny cheating allegations, Julia posted two emojis of a bag and a person running away, seemingly saying that she is not going to get involved in the whole situation.
Her studio later reposted the response, adding, “Single, working hard”.
