Did you know that Jennifer Yu was also a part of the new Louis Koo movie, “Back to the Past”?
It seems that nobody who watched the movie knew that she was involved, that is until they saw the end credits, which had a “Special thanks to Jennifer Yu”.
While many were confused as to what role Jennifer played in the film, it was later revealed that the actress actually provided the voice for one of the characters, Gaile.
Gaile, the daughter of Michael Miu’s Ken, is played by Bai Baihe. It was reported that since Bai doesn’t speak Cantonese, Jennifer was asked to provide the Cantonese voice for her in the Hong Kong version of the film.
Jennifer also attended the premiere of the movie, though in Taiwan, as she was also in the area to promote her own movie, “Double Happiness.”
It is noted that “Back to the Past” has already broken HKD 50 million at the box office.
