As reported on Sina, Dora (real name Wang Xiaodie), announced her departure on social media on 11 January, saying that she was “leaving the group effective today.”
However, she left no specific reasons or even shared any future plan in music.
The departure followed Cindy’s exit back in 2022, leaving Abby, the leader, as the only member of the trio.
On the other hand, Abby responded that the team “only learned of the news through Weibo,” and revealed that Dora had considered leaving the group after the 10th anniversary concert, but communication failed due to “disagreements between the two sides regarding the group’s and individual development.”
She emphasised respecting Dora’s decision and urged fans to stop malicious speculation. Abby also stressed that 3unshine, which has been in showbiz since 2016, will not disband and will release new work this year.
