“Ciao, UFO” (aka “Au Revoir, UFO”) was recently named Best Picture by the Hong Kong Critics Society.
The movie, which reunites the members of the former duo Shine (Wong You Nam and Chui Tien You) and their “Summer Breeze of Love” co-star Charlene Choi, tells the story of three individuals, whose sighting of a giant UFO in the 1980s at the Wah Fu Estate become a pivotal event in their lives.
The movie sees the return of “La Brassiere” director, Patrick Leung, and co-stars Michelle Wai, Rachel Leung and Ng Siu Hin.
Meanwhile, the Critics Society’s Recommended Films are “Unidentified Murders,” “Behind the Shadows,” “Girl,” “Paws Land,” Another World,” and The Shadow’s Edge”.
