“Soloz: Game of Life” achieved new heights as it enters the Thai movie market.
The Malaysian movie began its screening in more than 80 Thai theatres nationwide on 4 December, a week after the cast attended the premiere held in Bangkok.
Its producer, Rahila Ali, said the effort to bring the film to Thailand was not easy, given that the country is known for its strict selection of foreign films.

“However, we believe in the strength of the storytelling, visuals and emotions in this film. With consistent efforts and the confidence of our distribution partners, the path to the Thai market has successfully opened,” she said.
The movie, produced by Key Billions and helmed by Syafiq Yusof, is based on a true story and stars Hun Haqeem as a teenage gamer Muhammad Faris Zakaria aka Soloz as he goes through challenges to succeed as a professional “Mobile Legends” gamer.
The film was released in January this year in Malaysia and later received 11 nominations at the 34th Malaysian Film Festival.
