Meng Ziyi recently assured that she is not at all harmed after the recent fall at the 2025 Tencent Video All Star Awards, and that if there is anything that was bruising, it would be her ego.
The whole incident occurred when the actress took to stage to accept the Most Anticipated Drama Award with Li Yunrui, Bai Lu and Cheng Leo.
The actress, who was wearing a sparkly halter top gown, fell down as she was climbing the steps after tripping on her own dress, despite being escorted by Li.
During her speech, she expressed, “I fell down last year, and I fell down again this year, but I definitely won’t fall next year.”
She later shared an update on social media, telling fans, “It hurt quite a bit. After the check-up, I’m fine, but I feel so embarrassed!”
Many noted that Meng is seemingly prone to injury. The actress made the news back in October after an actor accidentally stepped on her veil during the filming of her new drama, “Princess Shang,” causing her to fall to the ground with her head strained.
