Koichi Domoto recently announced that he is now married.
The news was announced via his agency, STARTO Entertainment, saying, “I am sorry to suddenly disclose my private matters. I would like to report to all those who have supported me along the way that I have decided to get married.”
He added that his wife is just an “ordinary woman”, and emphasised that he would continue to focus on his acting career after marriage, hoping for public support.
“Going forward, I will cherish the gratitude I have for everyone, strive to complete every task, and treasure the friendships I have built with you all. I hope you will continue to support me,” he said.
Prior to the announcement, it was rumoured that Koichi is tying the knot with “Hana Yori Dango” actress Megumi Sato, who reportedly has retired from showbiz.
Back in January last year, his fellow duo partner Tsuyoshi Domoto, announced his marriage to Kanako Momota, a member of Momoiro Clover Z.
