Ken Zhu has recently spoken up amid the controversy of his removal from F4 and its upcoming activities.

In a video posted on 8 December to social media, the singer finally addressed the issue and denied rumours that he was kicked out from the group due to him leaking information.

He claimed that it was B’in Music that cut any contact with him after he rejected their three demands. However, Ken gave no elaboration on the said demands.

Ken also said that he only found out he was excluded when the news broke, adding, “So I definitely won’t participate in this event, which is a bit of a regret.”

Stating that F4 has never been a group maintained by contracts, he understands the choices of the other three members and sends his blessings, hoping their performances will go smoothly. He also expressed hope that they will be able to reunite as four members again in the future.

Finally, he called out ‘Sister Ai’ from B’in Music, hinting that she was one of the reasons he was not a part of the comeback.

“If you don’t like me, or think I’m not suitable, you can tell me directly. I can cooperate. There’s no need to use this kind of smear campaign and mudslinging,” he said, though added that he is willing to find a middle ground.
