He may have tied the knot and is now a father of one, but Hu Ge recently admitted that he is not much a doting family man many thought him to be.
In a recent interview with talk show host Lu Yu, the actor was asked how he balanced his career and family life, to which he honestly admitted that he hasn’t done a good job at it.
“From the time my daughter was born until now, I’ve spent most of my time away from home. I’ve missed out on many things during her upbringing,” he said.
However, Hu Ge said that he was fortunate that his daughter is quite resilient and has gotten used to filming life.
“When I was filming in Qinghai, she also lived on the plateau for two months,” he said, referring to a place at an altitude of over 4,700 meters.
He said that this experience made him feel somewhat adventurous, and he believes he should never do it again.
It was back in January 2023 that the actor announced that he has tied the knot with his non-showbiz wife and welcomed their first child, Little Jasmine.
