Shortly after announcing her departure from TVB, Miss Hong Kong 2020 Lisa Marie Tse finally made it official with boyfriend, Andy Cheung.
On 22 November, the Chinese-Scottish beauty queen and actress posted several photos of her and her boyfriend, and wrote, “Waking up to find myself on the cover of a magazine with Andy, and then watching the story spread everywhere, was incredibly odd. To be honest, it’s taken me some time to process it all.”
“For years, I was told that being in a public relationship could hurt my career, that I’d lose jobs and that my audience might not approve. I have been living with that fear for so long. It’s been quite toxic for my mental health. So, to be met with such an overwhelming wave of positivity… it’s been emotional. And it’s a lot to wrap my head around, but it also gives me so much hope,” she continued.
Lisa said that the post is also a way for her to thank everybody for their love and support.
She also clarified some errors in articles about Andy, saying that her boyfriend is a long-time model and video producer from Hong Kong and is not a mixed race.
“We’re pretty private, so this is probably my one cheesy post – because we’re the kind of couple that lives it in real time, not just online,” she added.
