It was reported that Lee Jun-ho is in talks to join the third instalment of the hit “Veteran” franchise.
The news was confirmed by his agency O3 Collective, which stated on 11 November, “Lee Junho has received a casting offer from the production team of ‘Veteran 3’, and he is positively considering the role.”
Directed by Ryu Seung-wan, the “Veteran” series is an action-comedy franchise that follows the story of veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (played by Hwang Jung-min), who relentlessly pursues criminals.

The first film, released in 2015, attracted 13.14 million viewers, while the second instalment, released last year, drew 7.52 million.
While details about the role offered to Lee Jun-ho have not yet been disclosed, movie fans are speculating whether he might become the new villain, following in the footsteps of Yoo Ah-in and Jung Hae-in from the previous films.
Meanwhile, the actor is currently starring in the tvN series, “Typhoon Family”.
