Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have made history as the first married couple to have won best Actor and Actress at the Blue Dragon Awards.
The actress won the accolade for her performance in the Park Chan-wook’s “No Other Choice,” expressed elation to win the accolade again 13 years after she first won it for “My Wife Got Married”.
“Becoming a mother changed how I view the world. I want to be a good adult and a good actor,” she said, and thanked “the two guys I truly love,” namely her husband and their son.
As for Hyun Bin, the actor won the award for his performance in “Harbin,” and didn’t forget to thank his wife in his speech, saying, “[Thank you] Ye-jin, who gives me strength just by existing, our son, I love you and thank you.”
The two also won Most Popular Actors, a fan-voted category, alongside Park Jin-young and Im Yoon-A.
