Two years into their marriage, South Korean actress Go Won-hee surprised many by announcing that she and her husband have parted ways.
The news was confirmed by her agency Ghost Studio on 25 November, in a statement that read, “After careful consideration, Go Won-hee agreed to end her marriage early this year.”
The agency also revealed that Go and her husband did not legally register their marriage after the wedding, and that “after sufficient discussion with the other party”, they decided to go their separate ways.
“Seeing that this was a mutual decision, we ask that you refrain from spreading speculative reports or false information. Go Won-hee will continue to do her best to present a good image as an actress, so we ask for your continued support.”
The 31-year-old actress, who made her debut in 2010, married an older businessman at a hotel in Seoul in October 2022.
