Despite the success of her drama, “Love’s Ambition”, Zhao Lusi is not planning to do more dramas in the near future.
In a recent livestream, the actress, whose said drama became a hit without her needing to promote or publicise it, admitted that she did receive a lot of acting offers following the drama’s good ratings, but that her health situation isn’t conducive enough for her to accept them.
Lusi shared that the contract dispute with her management company Yinhekuyu Media last year had left her with very fragile mental and physical state, and that she is still recuperating from it. She added that even attending a single event requires a long period of rest afterwards to regain her strength.
Since her body has not fully recovered, Lusi said that she has decided to delay her return to work. She emphasised the importance of adjusting her mindset and not rushing the recovery process to avoid worsening her anxiety.
