While the Mid-Autumn Festival was a happy day for everybody, Aya Liu couldn’t help but feel the sadness, seeing that it also marked the birthday of her beloved friend, the late Barbie Hsu.
The Taiwanese TV personality took to Weibo on 6 October to express her feelings about adapting to life without her best friend, writing, “I miss you… Now that you’re gone, this day is no longer happy.”
“I’ve dreamed of you several times, and you look the same as before. When I woke up, I had the illusion that if I called you, you would answer, and I could tell you what we did in our dreams like before,” she expressed.
“I wonder where you are now? We all take good care of ourselves, and you have to take good care of yourself for us too. A phone call or a message can no longer find you… But they say that thoughts have power, so I’m sending you all my blessings through my thoughts, can you receive them? With so many thoughts and hugs, I can see that you’re a little embarrassed, but actually very touched.”
Barbie, who passed away in February this year, would have been 49 on 6 October.
