Kerri Hua recently surprised many by revealing that she has actually been married for the past year.
On 9 September, as she celebrated her first wedding anniversary, the Taiwanese actress posted several photos and revealed that it has been a year since she registered her marriage with fellow actor husband Lin Shi-chieh. She shared that they first met, albeit briefly, in 2009.
“In 2012, we ran into each other by chance on the street, and only then did we truly get to know each other. We officially started dating on Monday, 9 September 2013. The whole story is long, so I’ll skip the details,” she expressed.
“On 9 September 2024, which also happens to fall on a Monday, we registered our marriage. Marriage has always been part of our plan. It’s just that the pandemic came, then we each took on a few acting projects. So we ended up postponing it without pressure indefinitely.”

Kerri said that they had a small dinner gathering on the day of their marriage registration, and then held another banquet in April this year.
“As for the wedding reception, we’re currently coordinating with family and friends to find a time when everyone can return to Taiwan. It’ll probably (or hopefully) be held next year,” she added.
It is noted that the two first appeared together back in 2017 in the FTV drama, “Spring Flower”.
