Grace Chow has a new excuse for not dating again; that her mother would rather she not fall in love and get hurt again.
The social media influencer and entrepreneur shared as much in a recent livestream with fans, where she was asked if she would find love again.
“Many of my fans hope that I’ll start dating again. I understand their eagerness, but the other day I was talking to my mum and realised that she actually doesn’t want me to be in a relationship. She thinks I’m doing just fine the way I am. Maybe she’s worried I’ll get hurt,” she said.
Grace admitted that even she has her reservations about being in a relationship again seeing that it may affect her own career.
“If you meet someone really great, you’ll want to go on trips and dates with them. Then where’s the time to work? And if you end up with someone who’s not so great, then there’s a whole lot of other problems,” she added.
Grace’s most known romance was with Taiwanese singer Show Lo, whom she dated for nearly 10 years before their high-profile breakup in 2020.
