After sparking concern over his health with his hospital bed photo, Jet Li recently assured that he is now doing well.
The 62-year-old earlier posted a photo of him in hospital on social media, lying in bed with a medical monitor displaying his heart rate and oxygen level.
“There’s a problem with my hardware, so I sent it back to the factory for repair… Don’t worry too much about me,” he said in the caption.
While he didn’t reveal any specific cause of his illness, his close friend Tiffany Chen told the media that it was for a surgery to remove a small benign tumour.
A day later, Jet Li posted on Weibo to report that he was safe, saying, “Thank you again for your thoughts and blessings. I’m sorry for worrying everyone. I’ve left the factory and am eating something delicious.”
